El Ejército de Tierra estrena su potente vehículo de zapadores Castor en unas maniobras internacionales
La agrupación enviada a Polonia para participar en el ejercicio Euretex incluye dos unidades de este vehículo pertenecientes al batallón de zapadores de la Brigada Guadarrama XII
El Ejército de Tierra ha desplegado por primera vez en maniobras internacionales el nuevo Vehículo de Combate de Zapadores (VCZAP) Castor, desarrollado por GDELS-Santa Bárbara Sistemas. El evento elegido es el ejercicio Euretex 2024 en Polonia.
Este ejercicio internacional, organizado por el Eurocuerpo y de carácter bienal, se lleva a cabo en el Centro de Entrenamiento de Combate en Drawsko Pomorskie (Polonia). Las maniobras han comenzado este 8 de junio y concluirán el 22 de junio, participando cerca de 1.000 soldados de 12 países (Alemania, España, Polonia, Italia, Rumanía, República Checa, Dinamarca, Bélgica, Hungría, Estonia, Lituania y Estados Unidos).
